What’s your passion outside of work?

I love to stay active. When I was younger that meant playing AFL, basketball, tennis, and entering triathlons. Now it is more likely to involve running and the gym, as well as more recently picking up the frustratingly addictive sport of golf.

Why advice do you live by?

There is no such thing as a stupid question.

What entertainment ‘first time’ would you relive again?

There is nothing quite like the drama of live sport in my opinion. It would have to be watching my swans win the AFL Grand Final at the MCG again. I was overseas in 2012, while in 2005 I was fortunate enough to attend albeit probably a touch too young to really appreciate it.

What tech do you avoid in your personal life?

Personal assistants and home smart devices. They are a little bit too ‘Big Brother’ for me.

What inspires you?

Continuing to learn and challenge myself. The Einstein quote “once you stop learning, you start dying” really resonates with me not only from a personal and professional development sense, but also ensuring that I keep an open mind more generally in all facets of work and life.




