About the role: 

To be successful in this role, you’ll have demonstrated experience learning on the fly while pivoting between multiple business entities.

In this diversified role, you’ll take ownership of corporate accounting as well as work with a small finance team supporting fund operations. 

The core focus of this role will be monthly reporting and compliance, however, there will be ample opportunity to get involved in projects, and process improvement. Your day to day role will include:

Corporate Accounting

• Maintaining monthly group reconciliations and assisting with forecasting & reporting
• Monthly, annual and quarterly compliance
• Assisting with payroll & remuneration 

Fund Operations

• Liaising with our external fund administrator to prepare regular reporting
• Assisting with ad-hoc investor communications
• Assisting with year-end audit & tax reporting

Skills & experience: 

• A passion for startups and technology!
• Attention to detail, attention to detail, attention to detale
• An accounting degree is required, CA/CPA qualified or in progress preferred
• Experience in a similar role and experience with accounting software (Xero experience is nice to have)
• Must be able to work full time within a team and autonomously
• Knowledge of the Australian tax including Trust and Corporate tax
